Zenith’s TRANSTAR Automation System is an overhead pick & place automation system that will transfer batches of parts through a multi-stage cleaning process fully automatically using an overhead gantry, and is the preferred choice when cleaning parts for pharmaceutical, medical, or clean-room applications. This automation system can be added to any of our multi-stage ultrasonic cleaning systems. Baskets are lifted and lowered from tanks using pneumatic or ball-screw actuators depending upon the version of Transtar system purchased. Agitation of parts is also included to greatly improve performance by flushing loosened contaminants from blind holes and other detailed areas while simultaneously scanning the parts through the waves of ultrasonic cleaning action in the tank.
Systems arrive fully-programmed when purchased with a Zenith multi-stage cleaning system. If adding a Transtar to an existing cleaning line, the system can easily be programmed to transfer your parts with the highest degree of accuracy available. In addition, this automation system is designed to eliminate basket crashes which are common to competitive designs.

- Automatic Ultrasonic Frequency Selection: With Zenith multi-stage cleaners equipped with CROSSFIRE, the automation system can be programmed to use any single frequency included, or all frequencies depending upon the sensitivity of the parts being cleaned.
