Why This Makes a Significant Difference in an Automated Industrial Ultrasonic Washer?
Anything that is lowered into an ultrasonic cleaning tank will absorb some of the ultrasonic energy provided, especially when these items are between the ultrasonic transducers and the basket of parts. By eliminating these structures, ultrasonic power is dedicated to cleaning parts. In fact, removal of such structures has been shown to increase ultrasonic performance by 300-500%. The heavier the parts load, the greater the improvement in ultrasonic performance produced making this system especially well suited to heavy parts with highly bonded contaminants.
Since each tank in this automated ultrasonic washer includes an independent oscillation platform, parts are moved up and down repeatedly during the cleaning and rinsing processes. This will flush contaminants from within blind holes, internal channels and passageways, and other detailed areas of the parts being cleaned. In addition, moving the product scans the parts through the changing energy patterns in the cleaning tank. This provides a more even and consistent cleaning result in the same way that a turntable in a microwave oven heats food more evenly. In addition, this feature can completely prevent damage to components which are sensitive to ultrasonic attack such as highly-polished or machined aluminum, semiconductor components, and others.
The transfer system which is included is manufactured of standard and readily available parts. Baskets cannot be dropped or disengaged from the transfer system as they can with overhead gantry-type automation machines. Basket transfers are faster, consistent, and highly reliable.
By adding Zenith’s patented Crossfire Ultrasonic System, the range of particle sizes most effectively addressed is double that of any single-frequency ultrasonic system. This exclusive system provides the power of lower frequency ultrasonics with the penetration and even energy distribution of higher frequency ultrasonics.

Low Residue Systems
These systems include a single rinsing tank, and may leave water spots on parts after processing. Perfect for pre-cleaning of parts. Although these system can produce zero-residue results, water consumption in the rinsing tanks will increase.

These systems include dual rinsing tanks to provide zero residue cleaning results when purified rinse water is used. Water consumption is reduced when compared to low residue systems. This series is the most popular equipment choice.

For Very Dirty Parts
By including dual ultrasonic cleaning tanks, and dual or triple rinsing tanks , even the most dirty parts can be quickly cleaned. Since the contaminants are shared between 2 cleaning tanks, cleaning fluids are not overloaded and maintenance is reduced.
